Cantina Sant'Andrè. Non so se lo ricordate; quelli che avevano la bottiglia di metodo classico capovolta che si sboccava con uno sboccatore molto scenografico. Hanno molti altri vini. Uno di questi è il Gurdoni, un Carignano del Sulcis che è un ottimo rosso. Subito una cosa, il carignano è un vino originario della Spagna, si trova in grandi produzioni anche in Francia e in tutto il Mediterraneo, ma nel Sulcis, che è la parte sud-occidentale della Sardegna, ha trovato il suo habitat naturale. Qui molte cantine, tra cui Sant'Andrè, del nostro amico Roberto Brugnara (che non è sardo ma trentino), che ha intrapreso questo lavoro in modo molto solidale. Sarebbe bello andare a trovarli, escludendo i momenti di grande affollamento estivo, potrebbe essere ideale andare in primavera. Diciamo che questa è una cantina da visitare, è già il secondo vino che mi impressiona. Al di là del colore violaceo, i profumi sono fantastici, c'è la prugna che viene fuori, c'è il mirto, il mirto della Sardegna. Comunque, questo è un vino che ti abbraccia, è un vino fantastico, è pieno, ti dice "attenzione, sono arrivato, la scena è mia", sicuramente viene apprezzato per l'intensità, la complessità e anche per il fatto che, come a volte accade, non si sente la gradazione alcolica, che non è semplicissimo in un vino. Nel bicchiere, non è pungente. In bocca ha una rotondità e un'eleganza non comuni. Due cose che ho da dire: al naso sento una nota dolce che mi piace particolarmente e in bocca senti proprio la prugna, la frutta matura. A volte per descrivere e far capire la complessità di un vino è necessario tirare fuori dei sentori, ma questo è un prodotto piacevole al 100%. Sì, sì, sì. 🍷

They have a wide range of wines, one of which is the Gurdoni Carignano del Sulcis. This is a magnificent red wine made from the Carignano grape, originally from Spain but widely produced in France and the Mediterranean.

The color is a beautiful violet, with amazing scents of plum, myrtle, and a hint of Sardinian myrtle. The wine is warm and full-bodied with a complex and intense flavor. Despite its high alcohol content, it does not have a pungent taste and the alcohol does not overpower the wine's flavor.
The nose detects a sweet note that is particularly pleasing, and in the mouth, the flavor of ripe fruit, particularly plums, is noticeable. To truly appreciate the complexity of this wine, one needs to understand the different scents and flavors.
